Week 4 Of Production
In the third week of production I re-drafted my article and checked it to ensure there were no mistakes. I then created a title I was happy with on my page and added the main photo to my page and ensured they were within the margins I set. I then typed up all of my article into the columns I had already made on my page layout and in the column that was left I added a breakout box which was to include facts and statistics to get the attention of the readers. I added and re-shuffled all of the titles and sub-titles and the breakout boxes and quote inserts until they all fit together onto the page and looked professional. This image is the final outcome of the magazine spread and I am happy with the final outcome. The main problem I faced was trying to get all of the different text onto the page to fit together comfortably however I managed to do this. After I had totally finished with the DPS, I went back to check on my front cover and made some slight alterations such as putting a backdrop on some of the titles to make them stand out more also, the final image is also shown below. Overall I am happy with my magazine however I think I could have done some things better. If I could change it I would change the layout of my double page spread as it does not have the look I was after, however I am still happy with the outcome.
